Described as a photographer’s dream, Hollycott Farm is an idyllic place for a wedding. There are picture perfect locations for both your ceremony and reception, with the changing colours and seasons providing every couple with a unique experience and view. As a working farm, the venue is offered for a limited number of weddings each season so that we can make everything personal and unique for your special day.
Whether you are looking for a stunning backdrop for a completely outdoor event, surrounded by hills and gum trees, dining and dancing under the millions of stars; or prefer to personally style a marquee, stretch tent or teepee; there is an abundance of space for creating an unforgettable day. Hollycott Farm offers the perfect blank canvas to work with. Bring your dreams and imagination and we will help you to bring it to life.
Hollycott can provide your perfect destination wedding location… offering unlimited views, romance, intimacy and fun. Our Wedding Co-ordinator makes every effort to ensure that every detail is perfectly planned and attended to, and that your special day with family and friends is full of wonderful memories and enchanting stories to enjoy for years to come.
At Hollycott we offer you the opportunity to have your ceremony, photographs, and reception all within a close location. It is the perfect opportunity to allow your guests and family to relax and be catered for, while you and your photographer exploit the magical rural views as far as the eye can see. Our favourite photographer locations include: The Homestead (our charming modern country house), Top Shed Farm Stay, the Hay Shed, The Creek, the lookout with expansive views, big gum trees, and the granite rocks. You can even arrange to be escorted by 4WD to some extra special locations to capture the sun as it sets over the hills, or have special images taken with farm animals! You can even bring your special furry family member (pet) with you too. (conditions apply)
When it comes to food, we have some fabulous local caterers specialising in location weddings, each with a style of their own to offer you a variety of menu options. Drinks can be BYO (conditions apply), or provided by some amazing mobile vendors who come to our region. At Hollycott we love to support local and seasonal when we can, and we promote sustainable practice and minimal environmental impact wherever possible.
There are great accommodation options close by in Jugiong (10mins), Harden (20mins), or Cootamundra (30mins), with plenty of room for all of your guests to make it a celebration to remember. A bus can be arranged to pick up and drop off your guests from these locations. Your 3 day use of the site allows you to relax and take your time for ease of setting up and packing down. Perhaps you and your guests would like to organise a recovery breakfast/lunch, or a farm tour to meet some of our friendly animals as well?
The Beauty Room (in the Homestead), and The Top Shed Farm Stay, provide comfortable areas for bridal party preparations. We aim to make you feel at home at the farm during the planning, lead up and for the entire duration of your visit, and know that you will become part of the Hollycott family. Both you and your guests will have enduring memories of a magical experience here on the farm.
